Ich erhielt eine Einladung aus CZ von Daniel zu einem Treffen mit Thema Mauerfall in Berlin!
Aufgrund der Länge der Mail sah ich von einer Übersetzung derselben ab..
Hier also ein Auszug der besagten Mail von Daniel:
"Fall of the Berlin Wall in CZ
Let me ask you one question: do U know about planned event called Fall of the Berlin Wall? The idea is to concentrate vehicles from both previous parts of Germany into one place, to spent a great time and to admire the both sides technical miracles
The DDR part´s gonna be represented by IFA vehicles - the lorrys and trucks but the Multicars, Garants, Wartburgs, Trabants, MZs and the others, and the western part´s gonna be represented by VAG vehicles, hope some BMW bikes, Porsche, MB and hope some others as in case of eastern representatives.The IFA club prepares this kind of event for each year. The date is August 17-19. For CZ very hated date because of invasion of Russian and the other Eastern block´s armies in 1968. That´s the symbolism ...
Let me summarize prepared program:
Fri Aug 17th
- some people will come on Fri 17th in the evening of course - for them accomodation in a camp and then the beering and listening to DDR hits in a camp pub
Sat Aug 18th
- 10:00 - cermonial opening of the meeting and preparation of the convoy
- 11:00 - departure of the convoy to center of Potstejn and exhibition of the vehicles and collective lunch
- 13:00 - departure of the vehicles to quarry Litice - see the pictures in gallery http://ifasraz.potstejn.cz/fotogalerie.html - the blue lines are links, I recommend to check especially the lasts of them
The organizer promises some action surprise at the quarry so we´ll see - 18:00 - handing over of some souvenirs to owners of the best evaluated vehicles of some categories
- 19:00 - the fall of the wall, friendship making between both separated parts of Germany, food, beering and line rock´n roll band Robur Rock
My idea was to open a new topic on your passat-kartei forum but drobek and Carlos said that it´ s better if you´ll translate it into German then to leave it in English. So Tommy what do you think about?
Btw. I already asked the main organizer (he calls himself as general director of the meeting :- ) what does the IFA club think about theoretical participation of some guest from the behind of the iron curtain and he was really pleased by the idea so ... So what?
