Clutch: 190 / 210 / 228 mm ?

Hi

I am having trouble with my 210mm clutch in my 32b-TDI. It's slipping!

I think the clutch is too cheap, because the old 190mm worked perfect.


My question is, do the 215/228mm clutches of the 5cil models fit the 4cil flywheel? They both have 24-teeth, but how about the flywheel?

hope to find out soon, I really need to replace it with a high quality one!

Hi,
210mm is the biggest one for 4 Zylinder frontwheeldrive flywheel.
Please search for a stronger clutch or Taxi clutch.

I have a 228mm Clutch in my 1,8t modification Passat. You need a flywheel from a 4 Zyl. Syncro and a Custom made Gearbox.
In the normal Gearbox is not enough space for the bigger Clutch and pressure plate.

I am now using a LUK 210mm. Have not taken it out yet, I gues the pressing plate is too weak. This was a 70 euro Ebay clutch.

How can I find a taxi clutch?? That would be 210mm but stronger? What is the brand I should look for? Sachs? My kfzteile preishammer 190mm clutch worked better on this engine!!! I think that's strange

Search on ebay? Or where? And only 32b / audi 80? Or also Golf 2 etc??

In holland a 210mm will cost you around 175~190 euro in the shop... A part of the hobby is not to pay prices like this

Sachs is good.
Go to your parts dealer and ask for a stronger one.
Price is round about 200,- €

My 190mm from KFZteile24.de was better than this one I thought LUK was okay?

Buying a Sachs on ebay or in the shop differs 100 euro, is an ebay Sachs not good? Or is it too old or something?

This should be the Sachs 3000 098 002 that I need, it's the 210mm.

Price seems good, better buy this one, or one from my local shop that asks 200E... ?
